My name is Jessica Thompson (aka Jess), owner of the Complete Small Biz Academy.

I have a wide range of first-hand experience, including in non-profits, the legal field, and service-based industries. For the longest time, I thought my path was just random plot points, until I partnered with my brother-in-law, Dwight, and those dots started to connect.

In 2023, I joined Dwight in the Complete Sales Academy (what would eventually become the Complete Leadership Academy). What started as sales-focused trainings for start-ups and large organizations, quickly transformed into something more. We realized that our original idea was dividing into three distinct pillars: Sales, Leadership, and Small Business.

Even though each of these three pillars continuously overlap, the greatest service we can offer our clients is to focus on the tailored content we were known for.

With that in mind, I embraced my love for small business and launched the Complete Small Biz Academy (CSBA). I still incorporate all I've learned and taught for leadership and sales, but now specific to Small Businesses.

My goal is to help entrepreneurs create processes to support profit and growth in their business, without sacrificing their authenticity. Whether I am coaching, consulting, or training a group, my priority is to get to know YOU and YOUR BUSINESS first. Then, I customize my approach and content to fit that unique need.

I received my BA in Psychology and Women's and Ethnic Studies from UCCS and am certified in the Psychology of Leadership through Cornell University. In addition to CSBA, I also co-own an electrical company called The Electric Way and co-facilitate a local networking group specifically for female business owners and decision-makers, called Uplift.

This constant emersion in Small Business reminds me of the real-world challenges small businesses face and is constant inspiration to build new and relevant tools to address those needs.

When I'm not pouring into my own or my clients' businesses, I am passionate about being a mom to my 6 year old son, a supportive law-enforcement wife, and a proud member of my beautiful community here in Monument, CO.
